Privacy Policy

Sipboard (“we”, “us”) is made by Betis Apps. This policy explains what we collect when you use the Sipboard app or sipboard.com, why, and the choices you have. The short version: we collect only what's needed to track your drinks and run the leaderboard, we never sell your data, and you can delete everything at any time.
What we collect
- Account details: your email address, and an account identifier from Apple or Google if you sign in with them. If you choose Apple's “Hide My Email”, we only receive Apple's relay address.
- Display name: the name you pick (or a random one we assign). It is shown publicly on the leaderboard.
- Drinks you log: the drink type, size, and time of each entry, plus your time zone so your day resets at your midnight.
We do not collect your location, contacts, photos, health records, or advertising identifiers, and we don't use third-party analytics or advertising trackers.
How we use it
- To sign you in and keep your drinks synced between the app and the website.
- To show your stats, Sip Facts, and your place on the leaderboard.
- To send account emails you ask for, such as sign-up confirmation.
What other people can see
The leaderboard shows your display name, total ounces, and number of drinks for the selected period. Your email address and your individual drink entries are never shown to other users.
Display names are checked against a list of offensive words. If you report someone's name, we store that report (who reported which name, and when) so we can act on it, and we hide that person from your leaderboard. A name reported by several people is replaced with a random one.
Who processes your data
We don't sell or rent your information. We use a few service providers to run Sipboard:
- Supabase, for the database and sign-in.
- Vercel, which hosts sipboard.com.
- Apple and Google, only if you choose to sign in with them.
Keeping and deleting your data
We keep your account and drinks until you delete them. You can delete your account at any time in the app (Settings → Delete my account) or on the website (Settings → Delete my account). This permanently removes your account, every drink you've logged, and your leaderboard spot. You can also email us at info@betisapps.com and we'll delete it for you.
Children
Sipboard isn't directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and protected so each user can only read and change their own drinks.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date above and, for significant changes, let you know in the app.
